After decades of development, butterfly valves mainly consisting of electric butterfly valves, hard sealing butterfly valves, soft sealing butterfly valves and wafer hard sealing butterfly valves have been formed. The applicable media of butterfly valves include common media such as air, water and steam, as well as various highly corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media, etc., which are mainly used to cut off the media and control the flow in the pipeline. So, what is the difference between Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve and other butterfly valves, let's take a look at it.

Among them, the hard sealing butterfly valve and the soft sealing butterfly valve are complementary. Hard sealing butterfly valve means that both sides of the sealing pair are made of metal materials or harder materials. This kind of butterfly valve has poor sealing performance, but has high temperature resistance, good wear resistance and good mechanical properties; Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve is Means that one side of the two sides of the sealing pair is made of metal material, and the other side is made of elastic non-metal material.
Compared with the hard seal, the Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve has better sealing performance, but it is not resistant to high temperature, easy to wear, and the mechanical system is poor.
