Metal Expansion Joint is mainly used to compensate the expansion deformation of pipeline due to temperature changes, and also to compensate the length of pipeline due to installation adjustment. Bellows Metal Expansion Joint An expansion joint made of metal bellows.It extends in the direction of the axis and allows a small amount of bending.Bellows Metal Expansion Joint is often used for axial length compensation in pipes.To prevent excessive compensation, a protective rod or ring is provided at both ends of the bellows Metal Expansion Joint and a guide bracket is provided at both ends of the pipe to which it is connected.In addition, angular and transverse expansion joints can be used to compensate for angular and transverse deformations of pipes.The advantages of bellows-type Metal Expansion Joint are space-saving, material-saving, easy standardization and mass production, with the disadvantage of short life.Bellows Metal Expansion Joint is generally used in pipes with short lengths and low temperatures and pressures.With the improvement of bellows production technology, the application range of this Metal Expansion Joint is expanding.

The sleeve Metal Expansion Joint consists of an inner and outer sleeve capable of relative axial movement.The inner and outer sleeves are sealed with stuffing box.Keep both ends of the pipe moving on one axis when in use.Guide brackets are provided at both ends of the expansion joint.The advantage of the sleeve Metal Expansion Joint is its small flow friction resistance and compact structure to the fluid.The disadvantage is poor sealing and high thrust on the fixed support.Casing Metal Expansion Joint is mainly used for water piping and low pressure steam piping.
