DN700 PN10 Hydraulic Tilting Disc Slanted Seat Check Valve

DN700 PN10 Hydraulic Tilting Disc Slanted Seat Check Valve

Tilting disc check valves are generally used in agricultural applications but they may be used in other applications as well.  The valves are used when there is frequent flow reversal. The disc acts almost as n air foil so once it is fully open, the process easily holds it open.  This is different than a swing check valve where the velocity of the process must be high enough to keep the check valve open. The tilting disc is much lighter and smaller than the disc in a swing check valve.  Additionally, the center of gravity for the disc is very close to its pivot point.  This means that the cracking pressure is much lower.  The tilting disc check valve has much lower pressure drop at low flows than the swing check valve.  However, at higher flow rates, the tilting disc has a higher pressure drop than the swing check valve.

Hydrostatic test for DN150 PN16 metal seated gate valve

Metal seat gate valve for drinking water and neutral liquids to a high temperature. CRV metal seated wedge gate valves are primarily designed for the flow isolation of a length of pipeline or piece of equipment. It uses a ductile iron gate that houses bronze rings to ensure a watertight seal.

Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

Double eccentric valves are well known for their strength and resistance even at high pressure. The basic principle of an eccentric design is to not align the axis of rotation of the disc with the centerline of the seat area, thus circumferential seal is moved away from the seat minimizing the stress when the valve opens. The disc will only be in contact during the first few degrees of valve opening and thereafter no contact and hence no friction. This design leads to minimal wear and low operating torques. Double eccentric butterfly valve used for regulation and flow sectioning in water supply facilities, plumbing, irrigation, etc. It has low head loss due to a hydrodynamic design of the disc, it is 100% water tight and need no gaskets to be installed.
